Quick Breakfast Ideas

Mornings are my favorite time of day! Whether I wake up early or late I always love to sit on the couch, with my breakfast and coffee and just relax for the first half hour of my day. It’s a great way to start the day. Even when the kids are up with me, they know this is my routine and they have adopted it too. Well, Liam has. Hailey just loves to run around and stay busy - which I let her do in the morning after she sits and has her bottle. She is so fun and loves to bring her high energy into our mornings!

I always find myself looking for new breakfast ideas because I do not want to actually cook anything during the week - I just want something I can quickly grab and eat that is healthy but filling. Same goes for my kids - I like to get them something heathy and quick without having the actually cook anything!

A few of my go-to recipes are:

Plain Greek Yogurt with 1/4 Cup Whole Grain Granola and 1/2 banana or 1 Cup of Berries

Superfood Green Smoothie with vegan vanilla superfoods, greens powder, 1/2 banana, 1 scoop collagen, and 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Oatmeal with Berries and PB 1/2 cup organic rolled oats, 1 cup water, 1 cup berries, 1 tablespoon natural PB - pro tip: after cooking oats on stove, heat berries (fresh or frozen) on the stove with a little honey, it turns into a delicious sauce you can mix in your berries!)

Whole Grain Bagel and 1/2 Grapefruit - favorite grocery store bagel - Dave’s Killer Everything Bagels

Avocado Everything Toast and a Peach 1/2 avocado on top of ‘Dave’s Killer Bread’ and 1 peach

Having an easy and nutritious breakfast in the morning sets the tone for the rest of your day! Enjoy these breakfasts and make sure to tag me if you make them @emilyrose_parkins on Instagram!
