Intentional Family Time

See this content in the original post

Spending intentional time together is not always easy but I’m the busyness of life it’s necessary. Take time to be together with the intention of actually being together and being present.

Here are some ideas and ways to be intentional as a family:

- go on family walks together at the end of the day
- connect in the morning over breakfast if dinner is too chaotic with sports / commitments
- make bedtime special by reading books instead of watching tv
- spend time during your car rides chatting or singing together instead of zoning out
- make plans to do things your kids love and enjoy
- turn on a family movie and actually sit there and be present while you’re watching the movie with them, no cell phones
- take the kids out to breakfast and talk
- go on a family vacation, these do wonders for you all
- be creative together, color, draw, melting beads
- cook together and invite everyone in the kitchen with you

What are some of your favorite ways of being intentional with your family?
