Black Bean Brownies

See this content in the original post

There is nothing I love more than a ooey gooey brownie. Obviously they are not the healthiest food out there so of course I was on a mission to find a health-ier version of a brownie. So here is my version of a black bean brownie. I really suggest investing in a good blender for this. We have a Vitamix and it is well-worth the money spent! It makes a difference in the batter, but if you don’t have a Vitamix fear not - you can still make these yummy brownies!

These are great paired with yogurt for a morning protein breakfast, as a snack, or a post-dinner treat! ENJOY!

Ingredients:
- 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
- 2 large bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup honey
- vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
- Throw everything in the blender and blend until mixed. Pour into a greased 8x8 or 9 inch dish. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake at 350 for 25-35 mins. SO good!!!!

TIP - If they didn’t set in the amount of time, let them cook a little longer! I promise they will set if you follow the recipe!
