Orange Cream Overnight Oats

This recipe is SO yummy. I came up with it because I typically just do my normal strawberry ONO’s. But for the summer I wanted to mix it up. You can play around with the amount of oranges, and orange zest! It would probably be delicious to add some coconut in here as well! This recipe is so refreshing for the hot days of summer. I will definitely be meal prepping this for our beach weeks & weekends so we have quick & easy breakfasts & snacks!

I typically eat these in the morning, but lately I’ve been doing my yogurt with berries and granola in the morning and saving the oats for my afternoon snack to fill me up until dinner! In the summer, we’ve been eating dinner later so it’s been nice to have a more filling snack in the afternoon!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup gluten free oats

  • 1/8 cup chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1/2 orange zest

  • 1/2 an orange cut in small pieces

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix oats, chia seeds, protein powder, and milk in a glass jar until combined. Let sit for 5-10 mins.

  2. Chop oranges into small pieces. Zest orange over oat mixture.

  3. Add oranges to jar with oat mixture.

  4. Let sit at least 2 hours or overnight!

Enjoy!
